- For any system to work properly, it must always communicate reliably
- ATSI uses the Global Positioning System to accurately "site" locations
- ATSI uses special software to validate locations and terrain
System Design:
- Radio system design is one of the most "CRUCIAL" components
- Must use a fault-tolerant network where the failure of any component will NOT cause the entire network to fail.
- Must feature a radio band that is not impacted by other systems and commercial / residential sites.
RF Path Verification:
- ATSI prior to the design of the SCADA System considers terrain, buildings, and vegetation to assess path reliability
- If necessary, ATSI will run actual field tests to verify computer study
FCC Licensing - Where Required:
- ATSI will handle all FCC matters for systems where licenses are required.
- In many cases, RF channels are very congested, so "Licensed" systems make good sense.
- ATSI and its principals have over 39 years of FCC and design experience
